These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the CodeDirector desktop application ("CodeDirector", "the app"). By installing or using the app, you agree to these Terms.
CodeDirector is a single-user desktop application that helps you produce programming tutorial videos and, optionally, publish them to your own YouTube and TikTok accounts through those platforms' official APIs. The app runs on your own computer.
You agree not to misuse the app, including by attempting to bypass platform rate limits or review requirements, spamming, or automating abusive posting behavior. Publishing is performed only when you explicitly initiate it.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any publish operation will succeed, as that depends on third-party platforms.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the app.
The app relies on third-party APIs (YouTube and TikTok). Your use of those services is governed by their respective terms and policies. CodeDirector is an independent tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by TikTok, Google, or YouTube.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
